History
Rajamangala National Stadium is the biggest sporting arena in Thailand. It is a part of Hua Mak Sports Complex located in Hua Mak, Bang Kapi, Bangkok and was built in 1998 for the 13th Asian Games of that year. Along the sides, the stands are semicircular and very spacious, with the West side being covered by a roof. The stadium has a video screen and the pitch is surrounded by an athletics track. It has hosted many major events, such as the Asian Games in 1998, the FIFA U-20 Women's World Championship in 2004, the AFC Asian Cup 2007 and the Universiade in 2007.

By the end of 2004, on December the 10th. Bakery Music, a music company in Thailand selected this stadium to perform a 10 years anniversary concert of its company called B-day. Recorded it was the first time the stadium was held a big-scale concert through 7 hours ,and 94 songs were performed that night.

Terraces no longer occupy the ends of the stadium, as the Stadium has been renovated to become an all-seater stadium for the AFC Asian Cup 2007. The Stadium seats approximately 60,000.

Visitors should take care not to confuse Rajamangala with the BTS Skytrain station also called 'National Stadium', which is adjacent Suphachalasai National Stadium. Rajamangala is not accessible by Skytrain or MRT train. However, as it is located next to Ramkhamhaeng University, buses frequently run routes past the stadium.
